Anne Lee, Deputy Editor - Dairy Exporter
Anne started writing for the NZ Dairy Exporter way back in 1997, initially covering the whole of the South Island. As the dairy sector grew along with her family, she’s held numerous titles at the magazine and covered an array of subjects including the formation of Fonterra and DairyNZ, a huge number of onfarm features, conferences and the development of new science and technology.
Anne lives in Charteris Bay with her husband Jim on 70ha, with a few beefies and regenerating native cover. Her degree from Lincoln University (mid-1980’s) is the foundation for a continuing love of learning all things primary sector, especially the solutions that come from our world leading scientists.
One of the great thrills is now interviewing the sons and daughters of those who pioneered the sector in Canterbury and Southland.
