It’s only a few weeks until the country’s largest two-day, dairy farming conference - the South Island Dairy Event (SIDE) – kicks off.
This year, Invercargill will host the event on June 28 and 29 with workshops and keynote speakers such as Black Ferns sevens rugby star Tyla Nathan-Wong set to inspire and educate.
The packed workshop programme, designed by farmers for farmers, includes sessions on contract milking, getting the most from animal wearable/collar data, growing summer safe crops, apps that improve efficiency, a practical guide to Lean management, nutrient management, financial/investment management and plenty more.
