In 2025, NZ Dairy Exporter celebrates 100 years of being in publication with a very special collector’s edition!
This will be a nostalgic look back at our coverage of key moments over a century of dairy farming, the industries advancements as well as what the next 100 years of dairy farming could look like.
Our 100 year special edition covers:
• The evolution of the New Zealand Dairy Board and the country’s co-operatives
• Influential innovations and tools that changed farming
• Events that shaped dairy farming and the industry
• Genetic improvement of our cow herd and pastures
• Scientific advancements that have helped us excel as world-leaders
Terms & Conditions
Entries close 13 July 2025 and are applicable to single purchases of the New Zealand Dairy Exporter Celebrating 100 Years Collector’s Edition only. The competition prize is only available to residents of New Zealand, and installation of the prize must take place within New Zealand. To be eligible for the winning item (SenseHub Intelligate-P gate), the winner must also be following both @nzdairyexporter and @allflexandsensehubnz on Facebook or Instagram. Limited to one entry per person.
The winner will be drawn at random on 15 July 2025 and notified via email and phone. No correspondence will be entered into. The winning item (SenseHub Intelligate-P gate) is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
By entering this competition, participants consent to their personal details being shared with MSD Animal Health for the purpose of administering the competition and related activities.
Participants also agree that their name, entry, and any related content including video footage and promotional material captured during installation and subsequent use of the SenseHub Intelligate-P gate may be used by CountryWide Media Ltd and / or MSD Animal Health and its partners for marketing and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
The winning item (SenseHub Intelligate-P gate) will be implemented and fulfilled solely by MSD Animal Health (“the Provider”). Note that SenseHub Intelligate-P gate drafts off SenseHub Dairy Collars only. The Provider is responsible for all aspects of the prize fulfilment, including delivery, installation, and compliance with any applicable safety or building standards.
CountryWide Media Ltd is not liable for any delays, issues, or disputes arising from the provision or installation of the prize by the Provider. Any concerns regarding the prize once awarded should be directed to the Provider.
The value of SenseHub Intelligate-P gate is NZD$52,000 + GST. Standard installation, freight and commissioning included. Installation must take place before 31 December 2025 and at an appropriate time deemed by the MSD Installation Tech and Dealer Teams.
The following items are excluded from the prize and will be the winner’s responsibility:
- – Maintaining your animal list in your SenseHub system, to ensure you have accurate drafting.
- – Ensuring correct collars assigned to correct animal ID.
- – Deciding on the placement of the Intelligate sort gate.
- – The design of the lead-in race and yard layout. MSD can provide you with guidance and information to assist your decision.
- – Any yard or draft pen alterations, including pipe work and concrete.
- – Electrical and engineering costs.
- – Ensuring your nominated contractors complete all engineering and electrical work on time and to the agreed quotations.
- – Ensuring any electrical interference, if identified, is eliminated at your cost.
- – You must supply your own compressor, It needs to adhere to the following specifications:
- A compressor that is not shared with any other system minimum requirements 100psi, 12CFM with a 70L tank.
- Pressure should not exceed 110psi at the gate end as this is the maximum pressure for the valve bank.
- – Review the training information provided to you prior to the installer completing your training.
- – Performance checks recommended daily, weekly, and annual service checks as per Intelligate Sort Gate user guide.
